What a morning. Fishing has been slow. We had been getting out on the lake around 6:45 - 7:00 am, and were lucky to net 3 trout by the time the wind came up around 10:00 am. So Lee got this bright idea of getting out on the lake earlier than that. This morning we were on the lake by 5:45. By 6:30 am we had 3 big trout in the boat, one of which was my 22 in Rainbow Trout. It weighted 5.6 lbs. My other trout was a 19 incher and Lee caught a 20 in Brown Trout. Then about an hour later Lee caught another 19 in Rainbow and even later several 14-15 inchers before the wind came up around 10:30. We came in with a total of 7 fish with a total weight of 24 lbs. -- Since we caught more fish real early in the morning Lee wants to get out on the lake even earlier tomorrow morning.....like 5:00 am. --- When are we going to get our walks in? He seems to think fishing is more important now. LOL!!
